Important: Does the Geocoder (ArcGIS Online) consume Credits?

Is it free to use or does it consume credits?

The credit consumption for the ArcGIS Online services is managed directly by ESRI, regardless of the client. Here's from their documentation:

The answer seems to be yes, it requires credits.

Thank you for your answer.

I thought about this website:

https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/geocode/api-reference/geocoding-free-vs-paid.htm

So the Geocoder from FME uses the paramter "geocodeAddresses:" ? which is the only paid one?

i didnt write any token in the Geocoder only my free ArcGis Online Account.

Sorry, I have no idea. I think you'll get the best answer from your local ESRI representative.

That is correct, the underlying geocodeAddresses call consumes credits although it is possible a little overdraft is allowed before the accounting system catches up with activity every 10 minutes.

I'm sorry you have to be extra specific.

The FME Geocoder uses the geocodeAddresses call?

The ArcGISOnlineGeocoder uses geocodeAddresses and therefore credits
