I am having trouble connecting to an Oracle database using the 12c client with FME 2017

The most common issue is having 64 bit FME and a 32 bit Oracle client (or the other way around).

In addition to the other answers, please post a complete log with all error messages. That makes things a lot easier for us :-)


Thanks for the help. It turned out it was the 32 / 64 Verizon difference between Oracle and FME.
