I'm insert:

  • Writer FileGDB (ArcObjects)
  • Set Feature Class to fme_feature_type
  • Duplicate the Output

In the navigator is only one Feature Type visible. In FME 2016 there are two. FME 2017 ignore the second output.

It's a bug?

Yes, it's almost certainly a bug and I can reproduce it. I'll file a problem report and let you know when it is fixed. Thanks for letting us know about this.

In Build 17176 there are all Feature Types visible in the navigator. But the Feature Types have the same name: @Value(fme_feature_type). If I run the Workbench, I get the error:

Cannot have multiple factories with the same name. Multiple factories were assigned the name '_Value_m_esri_name__GEODATABASE_FILE_3_DirCreator'

It's not possible to rename the definition of the output?

I have the same problem in 2017.1 with FeatureWriter and Excel file.

Version: 2017.1.0.0 (20170731 - Build 17539 - WIN64)

Is there a workaround in 2017.1?
