Hello.

I need to apply some formatting to an excel file (borders, fontstyle and so on). So far I use a template but the solution is not perfect because I don't know in advance some details like, for example, how many rows will be written. Can I run a macro written into the template to accomplish these tasks? A shutdown python script?

Suggestions?

TIA

Roberto

You can try the formatting options available on the writer feature type.

Thanks. Useful for some of my needs. Unfortunately I can see there the possibility also to specify border styles (v. 2015.1).

Hi @roberto - I don't see the ability to set a border either, but I do see that ability in the underlying library that we use. So I'm hopeful that if you file an enhancement request (safe.com/support) we might (no guarantees) be able to implement that fairly easily. Also let us know of any other options you need that aren't currently supported.
