Design File Truncated - assuming end-of-file message
I am reading Microstation V7 DGN files (Framme graphics files) in my workspace. I have noticed that a large percentage of the files are receiving a "Design File Truncated - assuming end-of-file" warning message in the error log. I have looked at one of the design files using Bentleys EDG and there were some bad eleements listed. I repaired the DGN file using EDG and ran the repaired DGN file though my workspace. I'm still receiving the "Design File Truncated - assuming end-of-file" warning message in the error log. What exactly is this message trying to tell me?

which version of FME is this? The relevant part of the log would also help, if you could post it.
For what it's worth, we have been using FME 2012 SP4 to process a lot of large-ish dwg files (around 10-40MB each), but I have never seen this message before.

Sorry about that. I am using FME2013 (20121119 - Build 13233 - WIN32) Desktop. Here is the section from the log file wth the warning message.

Hi,
what happens if you open the files using the Bentley viewer? Also, you could consider upgrading to FME2013 Service Pack 1 to see if that makes a difference.
If the Bentley viewer works and FME2013 SP1 still doesn't, I would suggest you send an example file and a description of the problems to Safe support so that they can look into it.

File looks to dispaly correctly in Microstation. I will try and get FME 2013 SP1 loaded and see if it makes a difference.

Just as a supplementary comment, I have recently seen a lot of these and the common trait that all the files shared was that they contained no features. They were tiles that were exported from a FRAMME system where there happened to be no data but the export still produced an export DGN file with a full schema.
