Adding tags to Complex chains in Microstation

Hi

I am writing to tags in Microstation v8 however, whenever I display the tags they are not showing up at the origin of the line. I think this is because the line is a complex chain rather than a line string within Microstation.

Does anyone know how to ensure the tags are displayed at the origin of the complex chain?

Have you tried with <tagname>.insertion_x and <tagname>.insertion_y?

Hi Pratap,

Thanks I tried: <tagname>.insertion_x and <tagname>.insertion_y

but it it is still doing the same thing and not displaying the tags at the origin.

I mean update the coordinate values of origin (of the complex chain) in these attributes.
