Where (folder location) does FME store database connections?

My work colleague is trying and failing to connect to Oracle Spatial.

I suspect that her installation of FME is slightly broken and she lacks the access rights to the folder where FME connections are stored.

When she goes to Tools | FME Options | Database Connections FME pops up an error message "Unable to retrieve database connections"

And she is also unable to create a new database connection.

If I knew the folder location, we could check if she has the proper access rights assigned by IT.

Thanks,

Nick

On Windows it should be in

%APPDATA%\Safe Software\FME\fme_connections.data

This is also happening to me when upgrading from one beta version to another. I needed to delete the contents of this folder and I was now able to save database connection. Is there a way to import the old connections though?
