I have a zipped File GDB that I have uploaded to AGOL using the ArcGISOnlineConnector.

The next step is for me to update the data. See 2nd screencapture in red circle, “Update Data”. Is it possible to update data in AGOL using FME? if yes, what transformer do I need to use?

I think there are 2 ways to do this:

  • Use the arcgis.gis / ArcGIS API for Python module and run it using a PythonCaller.
  • Reverse engineer the api calls using F12 / Developer mode and do the calls using HTTPCallers.

If I would need to do this from scratch right now, I would take the Python route. Pretty doable with ChatGPT / AI solutions nowadays and probably the more stable solution.
