Notifications seems to work but the topic monitor fails

Dear all.

I completed the configuration of a Directory Watch subscription.

I spent time trying to check with the Topic Monitoring without success (i.e. no results on the monitoring page).

Searching the community here, I found an answer to a topic where an expert suggested to look the subscription log. I did and I found the service working properly.

I know that the important thing is that the subscription is now working but I'm interested to know, if possible, the reason why the monitoring page seems not work properly.

Hi

Are you perhaps accessing FME Server over https? If so, you should start by verifying that the WebSocket server has been set up for TLS (I suspect it is disabled by default). Have a look here (http://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Server_Documentation/Default.htm#AdminGuide/configuring_for_https.htm) under the heading "Enable SSL on the WebSocket Server".

@the_dude - If you are having troubles with Microsoft IE or Mozilla Firefox, then please try the suggestions in this posting: https://knowledge.safe.com/questions/35672/why-does-topic-monitoring-not-work-in-mozilla-fire.html
