FME workbench best practices checker?

Is there some kind of FME workbench checker?

 

Just to be sure that the workbench comply to adjustable best practices?

 

like if there are 

 

- some bookmarks

 

- some annotations

 

- hide unused attributes

 

- no single input ports

 

..... (What else? some lists about best practices?)

Are you looking for something like a checksheet?

 

I've never seen such a list, but the example workspace for Certified Professional might be useful. You can download the example "BradgateProject(Annotated).fmw" from this page.

With FME Desktop 2016, you can read a workbench (FME Workbench reader) and extract some information as Annotations, Bookmarks, Readers ...

yes the fmw reader return a lot of info on the ws but not all...hopefully it will get an upgrade in 2017
