About the Contest
The hunt begins! Discover the legend of Greenbeard, the pirate lizard whose long-lost treasure is waiting to be found. Follow clues, solve puzzles, and place your flags on the map for a chance to win - the closer your guess, the bigger the prize.
The contest runs November 26 to December 12, 2025.
How It Works
- Login to your FME Community account.
- Visit the Puzzle Board - your gateway to 20 puzzles.
- Each puzzle you solve reveals a clue to the treasure’s location.
- Head to the Make a Guess page to submit your guesses of the treasure’s location. You’ll start with 12 guesses and can earn bonus ones along the way.
- The closest guess to the treasure wins one of our grand prizes!
- Throughout the contest, connect with other users in the dedicated 12 Days of FME thread on the forums.
Tip: Participation is flexible - solve puzzles at your own pace anytime during the contest window. You must be logged into your community account to play.
Prizes
We have some incredible prizes up for grabs!
- Closest Guess: The player whose flag lands closest to the treasure wins the first grand prize - a large Stump Craft (Canadian-made wooden puzzle) or Heye puzzle of your choice (up to $200 CAD value).
- The next two closest players win the second and third grand prizes - a large Stump Craft or Heye Puzzle.
- Special Achievement Prizes:
- Worst guess: A fun FME swag pack including stickers, socks, and a spork!
- Most puzzles solved: An FME hoodie to show off your puzzle-solving prowess
Plus four exclusive contest badges are available and automatically awarded depending on your level of participation.
