This “misaligned uncharted topiary” business has been driving me round the bend for days 😭 Would anyone mind giving me a tiny little clue, please?

Ah thank you! I’d tried that route a little bit but hadn’t guessed quite the right thing. I’ve got it now!

Is each puzzle standalone? Or are there clues in earlier puzzles/other categories that help with later puzzles/puzzles in other categories?

I’ve found them to all be standalone, though there can be an overarching theme like with the mountains. The clues provided have been for the treasure.

Picture puzzle 5 is really throwing me

I've done step 1 but struggling to relate the code below and the relevance of intersections

I numbered the horizontal words from top to bottom (1-8), then used those numbers as the first number in the the code hint.  It got me close enough to be able to figure out the final answer.  Hopefully that helps a little without giving it away.

Hi everyone!  I am stuck on FME: Puzzle 4 (second row, puzzle 4) and could use a little nudge in the right direction please.  I filtered out the points in FME4-Data into 4 groups based on the values in FME4-Data2, then connected them into lines - I got an interesting shape, but can’t figure out what it means.  Do I need to incorporate the 2 hidden fields?  I’ve tried every iteration I can thing of, but can’t figure it out.  Thank you!

This was the same approach I took but I couldn't work the letters it produced into anything meaningful. Glad to know I'm on the right track though. Maybe it's the vertical that threw me.

For FME row puzzle number 5: Do we reconstitute the image after every “divide and rotate” step, or do we reconstitute after every doubling (i.e. after rows have finished but before the next columns start), or do we only reconstitute the image at the very end? 

Does anyone have a hint for Codes: Puzzle 4. So far my pirate crew is failing on this one. And i would hate to Keelhaul them ;)

This one really wouldn't work for me. I kept trying different combinations with FME tiling and arrangements until one was close enough to identify the answer.

The words themselves don't hold meaning to the answer, i.e. they don't come together to form a sentence. Note that some are quite long.

Any advice for Code Puzzle 5? 😣 I am just stuck there...

I think there’s a typo in the code hint. The second 2(2) should be 2(1).

Didn’t even notice it as 2(2). I had it written down as 2(1)!

It’s not about the message, but the how long the words are.

​@aarondywong indeed the secret is in the length of the words…. Now we are struggling with the code and picture 5 puzzles. We deciphered most of the picture puzzle 5 but the final answer keeps evading us.

Same two I am stuck on.

Found eight FME related words in the picture puzzle, but now I have to find out whats up with intersections and how to get non-gibberish with the code...

@max_h. Yeah same here. We tried lots without getting any name out of it that got accepted. For now focussing on the Timepuzzle to get my mind of the picture puzzle hassle.

Haha, I can’t ever get my head around understanding what the referred “step 1” might be.
Everything else in the Images section was so straightforward, so the fact that this one eludes me so completely is extremely frustrating.
