Hello everyone,

please, I try to solve one issue, that Im not clear, if FME is able to do that. Is there any way how to migrate data from VPTK (ESRI´s vector tile package) to PBF file?

Thanks a lot!

Lubo

Hi @lazarlubomir,

We currently do not have support for reading in VPTK (Vector Tile Packages). We have an internal enhancement request for adding support for reading this format (internal number: FMEENGINE-64635)

We have this existing idea here for ESRI Tile Cache Files (*.TPK), if you are also looking for tile cache file support then please comment your use case and vote on the idea.

Thanks Lubo, our development team looked into this a bit more.

We have created an internal enhancement request to track interest for vector tile packages to be supported.

greetings from Texas….  want to resurrect this topic as I have a need to automate vector tile publishing from large sets of CAD files.   Has there been any movement on creating a vector tile package (.vtpk) in fme in order to indirectly create a vector tile service.   ??  Pls keep in mind that a .vtpk is not a .tpk which is a set of raster.
