I am running a workspace project and outputting to the Inspector Application. Each time I run this, however, the Data Inspector crashes when trying to load the output. I have tried running the same workspace project on a colleagues computer and it worked just fine.  I have attempted to find some information on this problem in the FMEPedia, but to no avail.

Hi,

I have never seen anything like it. Perhaps try to reinstall FME on your computer?

Hi,

Since the features shown in the inspector are ffs saved in the fme temp location you can try to purge the temporary files (tools >purge temporary files) and clean up the fme temp location.
Thanks for the responses. I have finally found a resolution to this problem and felt it was worth sharing.

I purged temporary files - didn't work. I reinstalled - that didn't work either. I opened the Data Inspector first - still no luck. In my frustration of going back and forth between inspector and workbench, at some point I down-sized the Data Inspector window before running the workbench job and 'walah!' it finally worked!

So after multiple tests of outputing to inspector with the inspector window maximized vs. down-sized, it is clear that the root of this issue is resolution. When inspector window is down-sized before running it works everytime. When maximized, it will fail everytime.

I just wanted to chime in because I'm running into the same issue now... turns out the size of the window (ie very high resolution) will instigate a crash on the Data Inspector. I have to shrink the window, like you mentione Jmcc01.

I was pulling my hair out until I saw that and was willing to try anything. Sounds like this may be a bug Safe needs to look at.
