When trying to reproject the data downloaded from this site / canada - New Brunswick (shape files): http://www.snb.ca/geonb1/e/DC/catalogue-E.asp

I get

2018-01-08 13:48:24| 0.5| 0.0|ERROR |CS-Map Reprojector: Unable to load grid file for 'NAD83_to_CSRS'

I also downloaded the the FME Reprojection Grid Add-on at http://www.safe.com/support/support-resources/fme-downloads/beta/ but it didn't help.

Setting the input coordinate system on the reader or using the reprojector does not do the trick either.

Hi @jan

Safe is unable to provide grid shift files for a number of transformations, including NAD83 <-> CSRS. For more information on CSRS and FME, please see: https://knowledge.safe.com/content/kbentry/19461/canadian-spatial-reference-system-csrs-high-precis.html

You will need to obtain the relevant grid shift files before you are able to reproject to CSRS. Please see this article for information on how to source grid shift files not included with FME:

https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/789/where-to-source-canadian-grid-shift-files-not-incl.html

Kind regards,

Debbi
