Hello ,

i would like to know ,what is the best tolerance value that use in anchored snapper (segment type ) to avoid any problems

i have used 0.02 , automatic .

it works well for some lines but it make problems for some lines when they are so close or cross eachother .The segment type of anchored snapper make lines to be intersected instead of cross lines .

which value that people has experience with segment type always use without any problems ?

is there any alternative for anchored snapper segment type that do the same purpose

Hi @soly Ideally the Automatic Tolerance would be right for every situation in your dataset, but there will be exceptions. At least the tolerance is logged so you have an idea of how to adjust it manually. Are you sure that you need to adjust the Tolerance and not the Snapping Distance? You might need two or more AnchoredSnappers - start with lower values and then increase for those features that come out of the Untouched port.

That depends on your use case and the quality of the data. Do you want features 1000m away to snap? or do you only want feature 1m away to snap?

I have used snapping segment 0.02,May be it is good for some lines but for specific lines ,I found that it moved specific line to close intersections of some lines .

but I need to execute to snap 0.02 for lines but because it moved line to wrong location .and May be some other lines have problem also but I did

see it .

so I am not sure what should I do ?

Try the anchoredsnapper, this give you an option to specify 'anchors' which don't move and 'candidates' which will snap to anchors within the snapping distance
