Currently FME desktop and or Server 2016+ does not work well with proxy servers. It worked perfectly in version 2014. Currently if you use 2016 it sometimes uses the proxy then the store works OK, but in most cases it goes directly to the firewall, without even using proxy at all, and then it fails (blocked). It should use the proxy all the time.

Hi Rudolph,

I wanted to let you know that we implemented a fix for the issues we have been seeing with proxies and FME Hub downloads. The fix will be available for 2017.0. Please feel free to test our current realse candidate ( safe.com/beta) and to share any feedback regarding this issue with us.

Kind regards,

Gerhard

I have installed FME 2017.1.2 and attempted to access the transformers by browsing the FME Hub. I get the following message Unable to load https://hub.safe.com. Check your network settings and try restarting workbench. Do I need to go to the FME Desktop Options and configure a network proxy or a web connection or other?

Regards

Celeste
