have a nice day everyone, i have a very big, scanned point cloud, and my client wants to have it as a obj mesh the final result that served me is 3dtiles from cesium / when i am trying to google how to get obj from 3dtiles, it forwards me to FME


please i need help how to change 3dtiles or json to obj and how to apply the codes because i don't know programming.

You unfortunately can't read Cesium 3DTiles with FME. Your best bet is to follow the steps nosradom outlined in the workaround here: https://community.safe.com/s/bridea/a0r4Q00000HbsHvQAJ/create-texture-files-from-point-cloud-andor-mesh-vertices (involves converting the point cloud to an OBJ in FME and then use MeshLab to apply the vertex colours into a texture for the OBJ. I hope this helps.


Thank you for your help. I followed the nosradom steps you shared. It helps me a lot. I did the point cloud to OBJ conversion in FME and then used MeshLab to apply the vertex colors to a texture for the OBJ. I have successfully converted it as obj mesh. doodle baseball
