How can i fix this? 'Unable to access to System Email properties'

After getting on a call, the symptoms were:
System email not visible: Unable to access system email properties.
No workspaces were on the server, and when trying to upload or publish a new one: Could not receive repository item.
The solution:
The storage.yaml was missing mount options: uid, gid and the storage account name.
Recreating the storage class correctly, then installing FME Server again fixed this issue.
