Can I not "zoom to selected feature" in the workbench?

Hi, are you looking for this "Zoom In" tool?

No u can't "ZoomToSelection" ...alas.

 

 

I often use a testfilter (also available in Inspector) to select the object, wich then will be full Inspectorscreen.

If you need to expand shapes geometrically, you can use the Scaler.

You could use python and arcpy (or whatever its called nowadays) to build mxd. I believe u can set zoom to selection in that way..(afaik)

Do you perhaps mean the "Zoom To ..." command in ArcMap?

 

But, there cannot be such a function because Workbench is not a viewer.

I'm missing the zoom to selected function in Data Inspector as well.

This tool is available when inspecting data using the Visual Preview pane within FME Workbench. It's also available when inspecting data in FME Data Inspector.
