Examify has been nothing but a hassle to deal with, from beginning to end. Their GUI scheduled me for a time that I did not sign up for, it was painstaking to move it, and the requests of the online proctors are absolutely ridiculous. Please, move away from this format.

I'm writing this at 1:17 PM, before my FME Certified Professional exam would start.

At 12:00 I started preparing for the exam session. It turned out that the exam was scheduled at 02:00 CET (Central European Time). On the Examity site, the company hired by Safe Software to administer its FME exams, I requested the help of an 'Expert' via chat. However, this did not go further than the comment that the exam had been completed with a NO-SHOW and that it had to be rescheduled. About the exam fee to be paid (150 USD): this simply has to be paid again. No offer to offer the exam at 2:00 PM (later, that is, the time I actually thought the exam would take place). No offer to reschedule the exam for free. No option to speak to a manager. Respond within 2 seconds with texts of several dozen lines. I get the impression that this is an AI Expert and not a real human being.

But that's not my point. What matters to me is that this is a process that should serve people. But that is not the case, man is subordinated to technology here. There is no understanding, no reaching out to each other, let alone compassion. In a world where people are subordinate to processes and technology, there is no life. There is only slavery there and it surprises and saddens me that Safe Software apparently helps create such a world with its re-branding. Attached the transcript of the 'conversation' with the Examity Chat 'Expert'

Helmoet,

I agree that this is making the renewal of a certification much harder.

I was lucky enough to have a smooth exam process.

But when I was reading a question out loud to better understand what was asked, I got the harsh request to stop mumbling during the exam as it was not allowed.

Very unfriendly indeed!

I would be glad if Safe would find a better way to do this.

Erik
