I have Las file in that I need to map 3d buildings.Is there any procedure generate in FME.

Hi Venu,
I suspect that that would be very complex because it involves extracting geometry form a pointcloud.
There a specialist software to do that, but u still need to guide the software manually, there is for instance a Autocad plug-in for that ( and probably for other 3d programs as well).
At my job i hav'nt been able to lure them into buying that software.
Basic Autocad 3d map has a point cloud workspace, i've been fiddling a bit with that.
But have not been able to automaticaly extract the city if Leiden (where i live).
Even tho we have a 2Tb full scan available.
Just viewing a bit is making my computer cry..lol
Of course, im a bit green in that area, so am willing to learn as well!
