Hi,

I've had a request internally to write data to SFN format. This is a format that the Dutch Kadaster delivers data to us in. The SFN format is required for a custom Smallworld importer.

Has anyone ever used FME to write this data format?

Thanks,

Annette

I've gotten quite a long way towards a working BGT-to-NEN1878 workspace a few years ago and if I'm not mistaken the SFN format is very similar to that. Feel free to contact me directly if you want to discuss this.

Had my share of attempts with this format, not an easy task, so good luck @annette2 !

That's what I thought and wanted to check. I've seen some custom python code which didn't make it look like an easy task. This is a temporary solution during the switchover from GBKN to BGT so I'm not sure it is worth it. Dank jullie wel 🙂 @redgeographics @itay

Sure no problem, the SFN is a dying format, luckily!

Henk sent me a copy of it in January.
