+2Could that be a custom transformer created by someone else? I've never seen one named that before. Is it coloured Green rather than the usual standard Transformer Blue colour?

That sounds like its a Custom Transformer as it's not available to me or on the FME Store here: http://fmestore.safe.com.
If the Transformer's colour is anything other than Blue then its likely to have been created by one of your colleagues, so perhaps best to ask around in your organisation to see who is the 'creator'!

try right-clicking the transformer to see if the option "Edit..." is available. If it is, it signifies some sort of custom transformer.

It is coloured blue. I think you're all right. It's not my own machine, and it would make a lot of sense that it's a Custom Transformer. I know who to ask now!
