How about creating 3D polygons (walls) and then transforming them into faces?
The FaceReplacer can be used to transform polygons into faces.

You mean the Extruder transformer (http://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Transformers/Default.htm#Transformers/extruder.htm)? I think it has transformed a line into a surface geometry (not a 3D polygon).
