FTPCaller Initialization Error

I have an FTP Caller that keeps throwing the error:

FTPCaller (FTPFactory): FTP info: Failure establishing ssh session: -43, Failed getting banner

FTPCaller (FTPFactory): FTP info: Closing connection 0

FTPCaller (FTPFactory): HTTP/FTP transfer error: 'Failed initialization'

 

I can access the file on the ftp site using other ftp clients, and I have tried different configurations of the FTPCaller but I can't get this to work and I can't find much info on the error. Has anyone seen this before?

Here's another case of it. Here it seemed to be FME Version related.

But not many other clues really. Which version of FME are you running and on which platform?

Yes, I saw that too, but I am running on a later version, so I was hoping this was fixed.

You can try and turn on FME Debug logging - there should be a little more Information in the logfile. Just ignore the BADNEWS stuff - this is nothing to worry about.

Just see the extra lines when connecting to the FTP. Is might provide some more clues

Hello, Were you able to find a resolution? We are having a similar issue. Were you using Password or ssh-agent authentication?
