Hello,

I have a FeatureMerger and use the Merged output port to pass data on to an Attribute manager. If I run the translation, the data does not reach the AttributeManager:

If I no connect an Inspector to the Merged-Port and run the translation again to see what leaves it, the data also flows to the AttributeManager and everything works as expected!?!?!?

To me, this is very confusing and I hope to be enlightened...

regards and thanks,

Ludwig

Impossible to say without knowing more about your data, but I'm guessing that the FeatureMerger maybe has "Suppliers first" activated?

If not, write both the Requestors and the Suppliers to an FFS file and post them here. You can e.g. use the Recorder transformer to to this. You will also have to show us how the FeatureMerger has been configured.

Hello,

I have found my very simple mistake: Wrong attribute exposition the and earlier feature reader together with a wrong Joing on specification in the FeatureMerger. Not sure what this had to do with the Inspector but probably some weird combination of Attribute Exposition and Accumulation Mode setting has probably led to this. @david_r: thanks for the fast reaction again to my noob questions
