Hi folks

when i try a translation from DWG to a GIS format, i encounter that message :

FATAL |Incompatible visitor version 1 in FMEOrientedArc::acceptGeometryVisitorConst. This release of FME is compatible with versions 6 to 6

I tried many ways to solve it, GeometryValidator, Orientor, but the message still remains

the DXF file is hudge, so i can't attach to the message ...

regards

I was able to read the DXF file and convert to Shape.

This is the workspace:

It is also attached here: dxf2shapefile.fmw

As the DXF contains points, lines and polygons, you will need to create multiple Shape files as shown.

Using the ArcStroker will convert Arcs to lines.

No idea what to do with the Surface object.

The Null geometries can go in either file.

Hope this helps.

The DXF reader has some settings that could help in this case:

  • Store Bulge Info
  • Convert Zero Length Arcs to Points

You can find the information on the settings here

Hope this helps
