Question

Fmeserver : Choice (multiple)

Hello everybody,

I have one workspace with Choice (multipe) publish parameter.

When I publish this workspace on my fmeserver, the traduction of the publish parameter is a succession of lines below each other with checkboxes for each line.

Is there a solution to have this publish parameter like fme desktop ?

thank you

Raphael

Hi Raphael,

Have you created the parameter via the navigator or in the transformer?

Parameters created in transformers are usually set to a certain parameter type.

That depends on how you define like fme desktop, if you mean a drop down list  than maybe a choice or text parameter type is what you are looking for.

Hello itay,

thank you for your answer.

i have created my publish parameter via the navigator (i don t know the way to create publish parameter via transformers). I use choice multiple because i want to select multiple values for the workspace : i have 100 cities and i want to extract datas for the cities who has been selected. With the desktop the publish parameter contain a filter box and i can easy choose multiple values. With fmeserver i  have a big serie of lines (100 lines with chekbox). It s not very nice and it's not a performant solution.

i'm looking for a solution perhaps via a web carto

Hi Raphael,

The parameter type choice or text also allows for multiple choices, have you tried creating several parameters types and visualizing them? do they all appear the same way?
