Using DuplicateRemover - keep original attributes

Hello,

I have a simple workbench script that reads in one shapefile.  Using the DuplicateRemover I remoev all features that have a exact value.  My writer is going to another shapefile.  How do I keep the original columns/attribute values of the orginal input shapefile why removing the duplicate features.

thanks

Hi,

Just right click on the witer and select copy attributes from feature type (or something like that)

Hope this helps.

The attributes should be carried over through the duplicate remover.  If you expand the shapefile writer in the main window to show the attributes, do you see a green or red arrow beside the attributes?
