Java-Factories in FME2013

Hi!

 

I'm installed the FME2013 an put my own Java-Readers/Writers/Factories in the plugin directory. The Readers and Writers run without problems. When I use my factories, FME send message:

This FME edition does not recognize the `de.geocalc.fme.factory.ColorizerFactory' factory. Please ensure that the current platform supports this factory, the factory name is spelled correctly, and that you have installed all required plug-ins

Must I register the Java-Factories under FME2013?

 

 

2. Question:

 

Can I use a shared plugins-directory? I need the plugins under 32bit and 64bit version of FME.

have a look at the example files in <FMEHOME>\\pluginsinfo.

 

With FME 2013 you need for every plugin (function/factory) a db (text) file which defines name,path and type of a plugin.

 

 

I am not sure about your second question, but i think you'll have to deploy your plugin twice.
