Question

time spent on a area from GPS trace

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hi, i have timestamped gps records in a database of several devices.

Those records are filtered in order to established a relationship with an area.

How can i retrieve time spent on a specific area ?

Thanks

Use a statistics calculator to find the min and max time for each area, then a date time calculator to work out the difference between min and max

thanks @egomm for your answer

i made a test with your proposal but it can't detect when a device go on other area and come back on the first area. i explain with an example :

22019-01-01 10:01

In that case, you need to create groupings to use in the statistics calculator. Adjacent attribute handling in the attribute creator will allow you to assign a group, e.g.
