Hi,

Having some major problems trying to read all the IFC attributes using the Revit Reader.

In summary, I cant exposed an attribute called Identity Data.Keynote and also cant see it in the data inspector. It is in the IFC.

Ive put together a document to explain better in the attached.

Any help would be appreciated and apologies for already uploading this question in response to another

Hi @cfordigan,

In the IFC file output from Revit, the missing Plate attributes are actually on the IfcPlateType template, not on the IfcPlate itself. FME does not currently read the template attributes, but we are working to add this capability to FME 2018. I will notify you as soon as this is available in beta.

Thanks Dave, there is a workaround for this in Revit that Ive found, but its not ideal as Im working on a huge project with over 50 Revit files, so very keen to get this in the reader.

Is there a list of other IFC templates available anywhere do you know?

Thanks

Chris

That FME doesnt currently read, so I know what I have to do to mitigate?
