NGINX with FME Server on Windows 10

Hi there,

I'm having trouble setting up NGINX with the windows version of FME server I have attempted to follow and adapt the instructions for Ubuntu here:

But haven't had any luck yet, has anybody succesfully set NGINX on Windows FME Server that can help?

In terms of my setup:

I have FME server installed on one computer running Windows 10 and a docker install on a different machine of NGINX Proxy Manager on the same network which I have used for multiple NGINX installs.

Hi @joe_p,

I haven't tried this for FME Server on Windows, but would generally assume that it would work as I am not aware of any differences in the tomcat configuration between Linux & Windows.

However there are a lot of moving parts here. I would try to confirm that the hostname of FME Server that you use in the NGINX configuration does indeed resolve inside the docker container that runs NGINX. Also, look out for any 127.0.0.1 or localhost references in the .conf files. The example was created for single-host scenario with FME Server & NGINX on the same machine, so some of these may have to point to your FME Server host instead.
