Loading Parameter Manager

Hi,

I have FME(R) 2021.1.2.0 (20210903 - Build 21627 - WIN64).

With this version, appears the Parameter Manager.

And I have big problem with it.

I often use a type "Choice" or "Choice Multiple" with a list of around 2000 or 3000 values. And sometimes more.

With FME 2019 I had no problem to configure it.

But with FME 2021, it takes several minutes to open the Parameter Manager, any modification takes a long time and sometimes, it's so long that FME crash.

It's very annoying because it worked great and I can't do without these lists.

Have you got a solution or a patch for this ?

I didn't have any problem to use Parameter Manager in 2021.

 

Maybe can it be memory in your machine. Did you check this paramenter ( memory )?

Yes I check the memory and everything it's ok.

With the sames workbenchs with 2019 I have no problem.

And all my co-workers have exactly the same behviour, so I don't think that it comes froms the machines.

It sounds like something Safe's tech people would be very interested in seeing. I suggest you send your workspace in to support.

I've just to create a empty workspace just with a parameter.

It takes 1m44s to open the window Parameter Manager...

And every modification in the manager takes a long long time.

With the same list in FME 2019 everything is instantaneous.
