+4Hello, I’ve run into a strange issue. I am accessing a polygon feature class via a SDE connection.
Whenever I add the reader it does not appear on the workbench, it does appear in the navigator panel, but not on the actual main workbench menu, where the workbench is visually developed.
I can run other readers from other .sde connections but there is something wrong with this one. I can access/read the data via the same SDE connection via ArcPro.

There’s a chance you have a Reader that is missing the object/featureclass somehow. I suggest troubleshooting this by expanding the gis_reference_LIST reader in the nagivator, and scan down to the “Feature Type”.
You may need to Update reader and select the feature class from the SDE again.
+25When you add the reader, any errors or warnings in the logfile?
And have you tried reading with a FeatureReader instead of the regular reader, makes any difference?
+4I ended up loading the data directly via spatial SQL reader. I think it was an issue with the server hosting the data via SDE, unsure.
