Please help me regarding issue in float the license in another machine.
My floating license is up in one machine and static IP assign to it. When we assign floating license in another machine we are getting error regarding port. I ask network team ,all port open for server.

Try skipping the 27001 port number, only use the port number on the second line, e.g.

VENDOR safe PORT=1700From FME Desktop connect to that specific port when specifying the license server, e.g.
servername:1700That works for me in most cases.

It's also not working for me. License is up on server machine , but when we are trying to floating the license on client machine, it's not working.

Hi David, Please help me in floating the license in another machine. I am getting same port error with all senerio.
I tested all senerio but I am not able to connect the license in client machine. I check with port number also.
Is any license file we have to copied in client machine before floating the license?
or any valid Vendor port number which can work for me. I try with port number 1700 at vendor side.

I suggest that you contact a support technician at your FME reseller/partner (i.e. where you bought your FME license), they should be able to provide better support in such cases.
