Scraping data from a map

Hi there I would like to scrape the data from this page. So want the lat/longs of the pins on the map and the background water outage data. GEOTIFF Writer Interleaving Type option doesn't seem to work

When writing to Geotiff I would like Band interleaved by Pixel (BIP, interleaved RGBRGB) rather than Band Sequential (BSQ, per channel RRGGBB) interleaving but whichever option I use, the Geotiff always saves using Band Sequential interleaving.I have checked using Photoshop and also GDALinfo and both agree that INTERLEAVE=BAND rather than PIXEL. Is this a bug/can anyone else replicate this?

Features that enter the OutputFirst Port, will be output first, and features that enter the OutputLast Port will be output last.This is useful for Transformers and Writers that need features to enter in a particular order. Reading CSV and Writing to MSSQL Database: tables not recognized by geometry_columns

Hello :)Here is what I am doing: I am working with FME-Flow and FME Workbench 2023.1.1. I have geodata in the form of .csv-files and am using a simple CSV-Reader ➡ MSSQL-Writer to create my datatable in my MSSQL-database (see attached image for FME-script). The datasets are saved to the ‘dbo’-schema and work without problem in GIS (QGIS in this case). This is done for a number of CSV-files. As an example I have shown the summary annotation for the dataset ‘ov_boende_aldre’.What’s the issue? When FME writes to the MSSQL database, the resulting datatable(s) is/are not recognized by the systems view ‘geometry_columns’ (se image below). Why not? When creating a dataset directly in MSSQL or in GIS (QGIS, for example), the dataset appears in said systems view. What can be the issue here? Any secret sauce to make FME create the dataset correctly that I am just missing?All help and hints are appreciated. SFTP External Action in Automation question(s)

This is my first time using the SFTP External Action in an Automation. I have previously used the FTPCaller Transformer in FME Form, but sometimes it gives an SSH error. The SSH error has occurred 2x over the past 6 months. Safe Tech Support tells me it is a generic error for which they cannot find a fix. Consequently, I am looking to use SFTP External Action in my Automation that previously used a FME Form workspace to upload to the SFTP. Questions about the SFTP External Action Details in Automation:Source Path includes the path and the file name (myspreadsheet.xlsx); Is it ok to add the name of the source file in the Source Path? Destination Path includes the path and the file name (myspreadsheet.xlsx); Is it ok to add the name of the destination file in the Destination Path? Is it correct to assume that Destination Path is the same as the Transfer URL in the FTPCaller Parameters in FME Form? Adding dynamic date string suffix using BulkAttributeRenamer

Hello, I’m trying to dynamically add a suffix to selected attributes using BulkAttributeRenamer. I want the suffix to be the day the script is run and expressed in YearMonthDay.Example: the attribute is “addresses_count_“ and using the BulkAttributeRenamer and running the script on the 24.10.2024 I want it to be “addresses_count_20241024”.I tried using UserParameters. The first parameter I made was a Text Type Parameter where before the script is run the User needs to input by hand the Date. It has a few flaws. For example, the user may enter the wrong date, the date is not entered automatically by the script and will not always be processed correctly by BulkAttributeRenamer.The second UserParameters I made and think it is the right way to do it is a Scripted Type Parameter. Below you can see what I made.I have not been able to get this to work using the BulkAttributeRenamer. Even when I select the string to be a UserParameter it doesn't seem to add and generate a correct date string.

Is it possible to only read in attribute data from a file geodatabase reader (so exclude any spatial data)

I know that there is a reader parameter for file geodatabases to only read in spatial data, but is there a way to only read in attribute data? I have an FME workflow that involves working with all of the attribute data and there is no need for me to read in the spatial data/geometry. However, my tool is getting hung up/stuck when reading in features from the file geodatabase - I suspect there's a multi-part feature with geometry issues, so I want to revise the tool to simply read in attribute data & not spatial data. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any help!

Change the number of bands in a georeferenced .png raster

I have over 30 000 .png files that have been georeferenced. However, some of the files have up to 3 or four bands when only 1 band is necessary. So I want to change this. I want to change the number of band from 4 or 3 to 1 for each file and then replace the old one with the new så I dont loose the accompanied georeferencing files. I also want some type of iterator for this, since i have my files in a directory tree: Directory → Subdir → folder → Files

FME Flow Apps have the potential to be a centralised focal point/application for organisational/enterprise level ETL; however, they currently allow for minimal flexibility and design when it comes to styling.The lack of flexibility and options for design improvements mean that even with greatest graphics/design eye in the world, FME Flow Apps are often left looking nothing more than a data dropzone, workspace runner or ‘Click to Download’ link.Expanding the options for image customization and editing, greater flexibility in text design, or incorporating HTML would greatly enhance the visual appeal of FME Flow Apps. This would increase visibility and improve perceptions to none FME users who are given access to a Flow App.Documentation could also be created in the form of a technical article on ‘Designing and Styling an FME Flow App for your Organization’ to support this process.

Custom Transformer: FeaturePrioritizer

I’m not sure if there is already a Hub or Custom Transformer for this, but posting my own version up called “FeaturePrioritizer” for any comments or use. I may upload this to the Hub if some belief is useful. 😉FeaturePrioritizer is a helper when the user needs to change the order of Features coming out of an Output Port to feed into a downstream Transformer or Writer that has a dependency on the order that features come into it.This is commonly needed when needing to say: Make sure that the first feature entering a Writer/FeatureWriter is a Schema Feature, or say when using an Aggregator that the output Attribute Parameter has been set to take only a single feature in the group (Eg.. The first feature in the group to enter the Transformer) to use as the Attribute output.Not much to it, behind the scenes this just uses a temporary sorting ID and a Sorter, but puts this all into a single Custom Transformer to make it easier.As an example, here is a set of Features their original order

Bug with the transformation of LAS file to Cesium 3D tiles

Hey everybody,I'm currently trying to transform LAS file into Cesium 3D Tiles with FME Workbench. Las file is provided by an Agisoft Metashape project with EPSG:3945 coordinates. I would like to transform this points cloud into Cesium 3D Tiles with EPSG:4326 coordinates.I can't use Cesium ion for my project. Unfortunately, I obtain this strange result. First screenshot is the original file and the second one transformed file.Has anyone run into the same problem ? Can someone help me to handle it ?Have a nice day !
