This idea has now been implemented and is available in FME Server 2016.1. We ship five default dashboards (you will need to enable a scheduled job) and you can add your own specific dashboards as well. Instructions on creating your own dashboards will be available for release (hint: Dashboards repository and Workspace Subscriptions subscribed to GENERATE_DASHBOARD). Here is a teaser screenshot of the new feature:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/l9lw9hnbqzx665w/Screensh...Give it a try now. Thanks for commenting, voting and contributing!

Presumably you mean on FME Server? I have suggested a similar idea. I think FME server should have a stats page with information about how quick jobs are running, how many failures etc.

I'm kinda torn on this idea: it would be great to have some statistics, but on the other hand it is too easy to end up comparing apples to oranges when using a turn-key solution, especially for non-trivial FME Server instances. I think the effort needed to put in place a full reporting system could be better spent on other stuff.  As it is, you can already connect directly to the postgresql tables in the repository database and get all kinds of interesting info there. I've already used it to generate performance reports, with good results, using FME to extract the data to an Excel file and generating graphs and reports inside Excel.

Would it be possible to track which user has run which workspaces in a given time period? This would be useful for a situation where multiple clients can log in to an FME Server (or Cloud) to run workspaces but get billed per-use.

This has been released as part of FME 2016.1 . Visit http://www.safe.com/downloads to download and try it.

This type of reporting is very important (to us) so we can figure out if we need to add more engines or perhaps another workhorse server. In the last year we have seen the average number of jobs on our server increase from about 8,000 per day to about 15,000 per day. I like stats like time of day peaks, duration, failures and (min, max, mean, median of:) translation time, wait time etc...
