I have hundreds of features in the Workspace and no I cannot break up the Workspace as any or even all of the features may need to be translated during the same process. I don't have a problem running the translation from the 2014 version but I would say 90% of the time 2018 exits before the translation is complete. The last time I tried I only had a handful of objects selected in Smallworld but FME2018 still exited before completing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am in the process of upgrading from FME2014 to FME2018 translating Smallworld 5x to MicroStation V8i. While I am testing FME abruptly exits.

It's not the biggest jump in versions we have seen but it may be better to incrementally update the workspace, maybe try a middle ground of upgrading to 2015 or 2016 first to see if they work. I know this may be time-consuming but it may also give more info on what specifically is causing the workspace to fail.
