CityGML - replace footprint, re-create walls but keep existing roof?

Hi,

I have CityGML buildings (LOD2). The footprint needs to be replaced with a more accurate one. With replacing the footprint the walls need to be re-created. I need to keep existing roofs.

Can anyone help me? Any suggestions/tipps how to achieve this?

I'm not overly familiar with FME,

As far as Im aware the best you can achieve is is to replace the walls with different ones, BUT vertical ones. In that case the wall points on the top would not connect to the roof points. Is that what you want??

(again - that is as far as Im aware :) )
