Hi Team, I have a large map which has a route on it, I have buffered the section to widen the path and would like to know how to snip the map section out. Also how to adjust wider or smaller on the buffered route.

Can you expand on the issue? Is the clipper output not what you are after?

The clipper for some reason doesn't seam to cut anything off the map. I've tried adjusting the settings a few times but still no cutting. I have a map thats large, and a cable route that runs through the map. I have buffered the cable route to make it clipper and I'd like to clipee the map so the files aren't as large and I get just the info we need which is the streets from the route.

@david_lyons​ Do the Clippers and Clippees actually intersect? Do both have the same coordinate system?

They intersect over each other perfectly, but for some reason it won't clip.

@david_lyons​ But do they have the same coordinate system as mentioned by @danatsafe​ ? They might line up in FME data inspector or visual preview if you have a background map since everything is reprojected to SPHERICAL MERCATOR. Try turning OFF background maps in the Data Inspector / Visual Preview. GeoJSON is usually LL84.

What software may help in such a task as his?
