Create an excel file before opening it

Hi,

I have an FMW file that runs various SQLexecutors and produces an excel file. Once the file is created I would then like to open it for the user to view/edit/save etc. I have the transformers to do all this, the problem I have is delaying the opening of the file, calling the SystemCaller transformer AFTER all the SQLexecutor transformers have been run and the excel file has been created.

Try using the FeatureWriter rather than the regular Writer. You can then let the summary feature trigger the SystemCaller.

Or perhaps you could use a python shutdown script to open the file.
