Getting a warning about Regapp on feature not being defined on template when writing XDATA to CAD data in Writer. What might be the problem?

I am writing XDATA out on line and point (no blocks) features in the AutoCAD Writer. In the Translation Log FME is dynamically creating layers and then throws the following warning right after noting creation of the "V-SITE-EWAT-" layer:

"Dynamically creating layer `V-SITE-TANK'

Dynamically creating layer `V-SITE-EWAT-'

Regapp on feature is not defined within template. Check that the Regapp name exists in the template, or remove extended entity list data

... Last line repeated 9 times ...

I am creating a new file with the writer (not using a template), and my understanding is that FME registers the XDATA under app name "ACAD."  Randomly checking a few entities in AutoCAD shows that the output data seem to have all of the XDATA intact, so I am mystified about this warning. Assuming that an entity on layer V-SITE-EWAT- was triggering the warning, I checked that layer in the input to the Writer and in the written out data. As it happens, there was only one entity to write out, and it checks fine in the output data. What might be the trigger for this warning, and, if it is a particular group of entities, how do I determine which are triggering the warning?
