Get DAYNAME from any date time attribute

You can use the DateTimeConverter with either of the following output formats:

  • %u - day of the week as an integer, 1=Monday, 7=Sunday
  • %A - day of the week in English (e.g. "Monday")

Look at the Quick Reference section inside the DateTimeConverter transformer for an overview of all the formatting options:

You can also use the DateTimeFormat function in an AttributeCreator/AttributeManager or similar

e.g.

@DateTimeFormat(@Value(date),%A)
