How to convert a building with texture microstation dgn file to citygml format


I Have a building with itiff textured polygons. I want to convert that file in to citygml lod 2 format. Anyone please guide me. I am new to this FME.

Well you're certainly jumping in with both feet first ;-) The key to writing CityGML is setting the proper traits and attributes. This article shows how to do that while writing LOD 2 CityGML: https://safesoftware.cloud.answerhub.com/articles/...

 

 

The example above uses IFC as a source. In your DGN, if you have single features representing buildings already you should be able to ignore the part about creating the mesh.

I have to convert DGN(v8) to cityGML.

Can anyone help??

  • it should have
    • closing tags
    • Coordinates and graphical data.

 

Please, https://safesoftware.cloud.answerhub.com/articles/1023/bim-to-gis-basic-ifc-lod-100-to-lod-2-citygml.html is not working though.
