I often use GDAL Warp to minimum sample rasters.
I struggle to perform such a resampling in FME and it ends up involving a lot of operations and/or external tools.
Does anyone have a tip?

Right, minimum resampling is not available as an option in the RasteRsampler. What's your use case here?
If you are mosaicking/merging raster this option is available in the RasterMosaicker but not for just the resampler. You should definitely create this an idea to see this supported.
If you can't do it any other way you can use the SystemCaller to just call GDAL but it doesn't really help as you still will need an external tool...

I mainly it use when extracting raster values to points over layering watercourses, to be (more or less) certain to get the water level I usually start with minimum sampling my DTM's.
