The new format for the Argumeted Reality (* .fmear) gives many possibilities for beautiful mobile applications.

Unfortunately, we do not want to recommend the general FMEAR-app to our customers.

We would rather implement our own native apps. But an API would have to be available for that.

Are there any plans from Safe Software?

We will very shortly be making available the FME AR app source code as open source. Both for iOS and for Android. Perhaps this will be sufficient? You can then base your native apps on what you see in there. We'll make noise when this happens. Before the middle of summer is the target.

The source code for the iOS app is now available on Github at: https://github.com/safesoftware/fme-ar-ios

The Android source code will be available shortly (just clearing the last few permission hurdles).

Is the source code for FMEAR on Android platform available now?
