add zoning to parcels -badly mismatched boundaries

Hi:

I have a layer with zoning, and a cadastre layer - the boundaries dont match up so i was trying to user a negative buffer to shrink the parcel a bit to eliminate most of the missmatches - but then i am getting too many null buffers. trying to do it with a spatial relator and a matcher and it is getting overly complicated. So time to rethink how i am doing it.

What is the best way to copy the zoning text attribute from the zoning layer to a parcel layer on top of it - there are parcels with multiple zones?

Hi Mike,

I would use the center point of one of the layers (my guess is that you are referring to two polygon geometries)

In the case of multiple labels per area, you can concatenate the value into a single label value.
