Hi balloonists!

Just for you, here is a video recap of day 3. In it I cover the current scores, when weather data is updated, who the air-traffic control voices are, and why it takes so long to load airports in the map!

Look at the video timeline to see the different sections of the video and find which ones interest you the most!

I hope you’re all having fun!

I’ve been having fun with this one but I do not like the automatic commands. I made an altitude change the right after that an automatic change sent me back to my original altitude. Burned an oxygen unit as a result.

Hi. I just posted a day 4 recap with an explanation, but in short…

  • We have to do a new simulation every 12 hours or so. We can’t really avoid that if we want to keep up with the current weather.
  • It would be ideal to keep track of how many hours you are above 5000m, and use that to calculate oxygen supplies. But it just wasn’t realistic to do this time.
  • Yes, if you want to raise your altitude above 5,000m it’s best to do it just after an auto command. If you want to drop below 5,000m, it’s best to do it just before. The help page has that info, but maybe the video recap will explain it better.

Hope this helps
